A delicious appetizer featuring shrimp in a sweet chili sauce, served in crispy cups.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush wonton wrappers with sesame oil and fit them into a muffin tin.
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until crispy and golden.
  4. In a bowl, mix shrimp with sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
  5. Cook shrimp mixture in a skillet over medium heat until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  6. Fill each wonton cup with the shrimp mixture.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, crisp the wonton cups longer in the oven.
  • Serve with additional sweet chili sauce on the side for dipping.
