Scale
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Prepare a baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.

  4. Fold in the chopped apples and pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce on top of the cheesecake mixture.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set. Allow to cool completely.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • For best results, use tart apples for a balanced flavor.
