A rich and indulgent dessert that combines the flavors of traditional baklava with a creamy cheesecake.

  • 1 1/2 cups pistachios, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1 cup of finely chopped pistachios. Press mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, blend cream cheese and ricotta until smooth. Add sugar and mix well.
  4. Incorporate eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract, honey, and ground cinnamon; mix until fully combined.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Let it cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.

Notes

  • Serve with a drizzle of honey on top for added sweetness.
  • This cheesecake can be made a day in advance for best results.
