A delicious and easy recipe for tender BBQ pulled pork sandwiches made in a slow cooker, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced onion and minced garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Season the pork shoulder with brown sugar, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, then place it on top of the onions and garlic.
  3. Pour the BBQ sauce over the pork.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender.
  5. Shred the pork using two forks and mix it with the sauce.
  6. Serve on hamburger buns.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, let the pulled pork marinate overnight.
  • Try adding coleslaw on top of the sandwiches for crunch.
