Delight in the gooey, cheesy goodness of these mini grilled cheese Hawaiian rolls filled with crispy turkey bacon.

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
  4. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  5. Layer the cooked turkey bacon and cheese mixture on top of the rolls.
  6. Cover with the top halves of the rolls.
  7. Brush the melted butter mixed with garlic and onion powder on top of the rolls.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden and the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding sliced jalapeños or herbs into the cheese mix.
