A delicious and hearty chicken pot pie made with turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for a cozy meal.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup peas and carrots
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 pie crusts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the onion until translucent.
  3. Add the flour, salt, and pepper and stir until combined.
  4. Gradually add the chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
  5. Stir in the chicken, turkey bacon, chicken ham, and peas and carrots until well-mixed.
  6. Pour the mixture into a pie crust and cover with the second crust, sealing the edges.
  7. Cut slits in the top crust for steam to escape.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • For a crispy crust, brush the top with an egg wash before baking.
