  • 4 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, mix in the sour cream.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until set in the center.
  7. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar for 1 hour.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
